Dr. Emmett has extensive training in all aspects of men’s health and preventative medicine. After retiring as a professional rugby player for Leinster and Ireland Dr. Emmett pursued a career in medicine, qualifying from the Royal College of Surgeons. After this he went on to train as a General Practitioner on the Trinity Specialist training scheme for General Practice and is now on the specialist register of the Irish Medical Council.

Martin plays a mentorship role as a Trainer on the Trinity College Dublin (TCD) GP Scheme. He has also been appointed to the post of Assistant Programme Director within the TCD GP Training Scheme.
Martin has extensive expertise in Men's Health and Men's Sexual Dysfunction, evident in his fellowship training with Abe Morgentaler MD of the US.A member of both the European Society for Sexual Medicine and the British Society for Sexual Medicine, he remains committed to advancing knowledge in these specialised areas.
Martin's extensive teaching experience includes instructing students at both RCSI and TCD undergraduate Medical Schools.He has also contributed as a former Intern Trainer with TCD, showcasing his commitment to the mentorship and development of emerging medical professionals.
